A Boutique Portrait Experience

Your Place or Mine?

One of the first questions clients ask is “Where should we have our portraits made?”        It used to be automatic to go to a studio, either a chain like Olan Mills or Sears Portrait Studio or if you wanted something more elegant or unique, an individual photographer, like Portraitions!

In recent years, the trend has been outdoor portraits, which are great, unless it is too hot, too cold, windy, rainy or just too humid for our hair to behave properly!  Trees and flower are lovely, unless our hair is droopy or we are freezing or sweating.

The most frustrating is when everyone is looking forward to the session and unexpected wind, rain (dare I mention snow?)  moves in, leaving us scrambling to find another day that works for everyone.  Not an easy task these days.

Now I have the solution, with my Inside/Out Session.

With my cozy studio located one block from the Old Town Alexandria waterfront, we now can begin our session in the  (air conditioned or toasty warm) comfort of the studio.  Having control of  the temperature and lighting means we get awesome, fun portraits without worrying that the weather will not cooperate.

And if the weather does cooperate, we then head out the door to the brick and cobblestone world of Old Town. We can even stroll one short block to the waterfront, and create even more images for your selection. The best of both worlds.

Schedule your session for April and get a complimentary mini book with ten images with an order of $300 or more.   Just call 703-304-3779 to reserve your date.

Happy spring!   Katie
