About Katie Garlock
Katie Garlock has been passionate about photography since high school and still feels the magic of it today. She lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband, John.
With her clients’ homes, the beach, or their favorite spots in the Washington DC Metro area as her ever changing backgrounds, she creates one of a kind portraits, storybook albums and fine art images, unique to each individual or family.
Her newest project is creating fine art images of the cities she visits. Art prints of her favorite images are available now, and her new travel book series, The Places I Remember, will be available soon.
On Vignettes, Katie documents her life as a photographer in the DC area. She volunteers her time and talents to several important causes, such as “Komen for the Cure” and “St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital” and offers her readers opportunities to help support these causes too.
Katie – congtatulations on your newest grandchild! What a lucky baby. We are still enjoying our portraits that you took of us this summer (especially the travel pack and the family shot). We will be in touch again sometime later this year, to plan for another portrait.
